WINNER TROPHY AT NARANGI

THE FIRST SILVER AND BRONZE MEDAL IN SWIMMING

Swimming captivated me from a young age, offering a sense of freedom and joy that became a central part of my childhood.
My fascination with swimming began when I was around five years old, during family outings to the local pool.  I quickly fell in love with the feeling of gliding through the water, sparking a desire to learn and excel.  My parents enrolled me in swimming lessons where I mastered basic strokes such as freestyle and backstroke. I enjoyed the structured learning environment and the encouragement from my instructors.  Early mornings and long hours in the pool became routine, fostering discipline and dedication.  My first few competitions at the local level were both exciting and challenging. Each race was an opportunity to improve, learn, and gain confidence. With continued hard work and persistence, I qualified for state-level competitions. Competing at this level was a significant milestone, filled with intense preparation and anticipation. My performance at state events earned recognition and awards, validating my efforts and fueling my passion further.

As I grew  and my father got transfered from Hisar to Pune, parallel to my swimming journey, badminton also captured my interest, offering a different kind of excitement and physical challenge.

I was introduced to badminton at around six years old, playing casually with friends and family. The fast-paced nature of the game and the skill required to control the shuttlecock intrigued me. To develop my skills, I joined a local badminton club where I received professional coaching. Training included mastering footwork, strokes, and strategic play, all of which enhanced my agility and reflexes.

Participating in local tournaments provided valuable experience and honed my competitive edge. Each match was a learning opportunity, helping me understand my strengths and areas for improvement.  My dedication and consistent performance in local competitions led to qualifying for state-level events. Competing at this level was a thrilling experience, testing my skills against top players from different regions.  Achieving success at the state level in badminton was a proud moment, reflecting my commitment and passion.

Pursuing both swimming and badminton taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of hard work. Competing at the state level in both sports was a testament to my dedication and passion for athletics.  My childhood experiences in swimming and badminton instilled a lifelong love for sports. The skills and values I developed continue to influence my approach to challenges and opportunities in life.

My childhood attraction to swimming and badminton, combined with the thrill of state-level competition, shaped not only my athletic abilities but also my character and outlook on life.
